This week's topic is perfect for October. I also love supernatural/Sci-Fi shows, so choosing 5 is hard.
My Apocalypse Dream Team
1. Buffy
Of course Buffy would be my number 1 choice! It's just another Tuesday for her.
2. Sam + Dean Winchester
Sam + Dean are apocalypse veterans. Also, cute brothers + a nice car = definite dream team.
3. Dumbledore's Army
I think having some magic on your side during an apocalypse would be useful. Having a whole army of witches + wizards on your side seems like an even better idea.
4. Stargate Atlantis Team
I would add the original Stargate SG-1 team too. They fight aliens and save the world, I think they can handle an apocalypse. Also, they have space ships.
5. The Doctor
A Doctor or 2 might come in handy during the apocalypse....

5 Fandom Friday: 5 Favorite Pumpkin Treats
It's been a while and I have a good 40 minutes before it's not Friday, but I really loved this weeks theme. I love fall! It's my absolute favorite season, and everything that comes with it. (Seriously, I just ordered glitter rain boots). Every year I can't wait to grab pumpkin everything! Here are my 5 favorite pumpkin treats:
1.
Truthfully, I've been hating on yogurt. I ate so much while I was pregnant, just looking at it makes me gag. So the only reason I grabbed this at Target was because it had a cute pumpkin and Sherri from Eisley said it was good....and guess what?! IT'S AMAZING! (My Fitness Pal app likes to tell me it has a lot of fat, but it's yummy fat...)
2.
If you can't get out to Starbucks everyday, then you might enjoy making your own pumpkin beverages at home like me. I will share my secret Iced Dirty Pumpkin Chai Latte Recipe (because it's so easy).
I follow the recipe on the Celestial Seasonings Dirty Chai Tea box for an iced latte (I get mine at Target, but Amazon sells it too), I add 1/4 cup of this awesome pumpkin spice chai concentrate, and 1/4 cup of Silk Cashew Milk (I used to do my normal creamer to make it sweet, but I'm working on my fitness.), pour over ice, and add cute straw. Ta Da!
I drink this everyday around 1, so join me! xo
3.
Of course, If I leave my house (rarely >_<), I like to hit up Starbucks to try their fall menu. I also enjoy their pumpkin bread. Tomorrow I'm going just so I can get one of these cute fall cups, because I'm that girl.
4.
I like to make my seasonal trip to World Market to get my pumpkin ciders + this amazing pumpkin spice pancake mix. I like to turn mine into Hello Kitty shaped waffles. This year I'm dunking those cute waffles into the pumpkin butter I got from our local apple orchard. I will die happy.
5.
I love to make chocolate chip pumpkin muffins using this pumpkin bread kit. I just add mini chocolate chips + a cap full of vanilla extract, then bake into cute liners and viola! They taste like they're not from a box. Another one of my secret recipes revealed :).
What are your favorite pumpkin treats? Thinking back I should've added Woodchuck Autumn + Pumpkin Ciders, they're awesome too! xo

Characters With My Favorite Fictional Fashion
Which fictional characters closet would I raid?
1. Willow + Buffy
Quirky chick + leather, why not have the best of both worlds? I'm also always wishing it was still the late '90s/early 2000s.
2. April from Parks & Rec
Her wardrobe was super cute + comfy, and looked like stuff I could actually go out and buy...plus she's one of my favorite characters.
3. Elle Woods from Leagally Blonde
All pastel and mostly pink, I could go for that!
4. Jess from New Girl
Quirky, cute, polka dots + stripes...it's my dream wardrobe.
5. Suzy Bishop from Moonrise Kingdom
What's not to love?!

5 Fictional Characters You Most Identify With
1. Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter
Quirky, a bit unconventional, honest, and doesn't give a damn what anyone else thinks. We are pretty much the same person...we also have amazing style!
2. Jess from New Girl
I watch this show and laugh so much! Quirky and totally awkward...twins separated at birth.
3. Chantry from What If
Someone told me I needed to watch this movie because Chantry reminded her of me. I watched it and could kinda see what she was saying....plus I wouldn't mind kissing Harry Potter (I mean Daniel Radcliffe).
4. Suzy from Moonrise Kingdom
Prematurely jaded and world weary. Decides to runaway and be happy...pretty much sums up my life.
5. Bubbles from the Powerpuff Girls
Sometimes it's okay to like cute stuff and want to make cute stuff. :)

5 Nerdiest Things I've Ever Done
I've always been kinda eccentric and nerdy, but I haven't really done anything too crazy like tattoos or LARP-ing, although I was around for a LARP-ing session once and I was super confused. Sadly I don't have pictures of all my nerdiness, but I'll try to recount a few.
1. Dyed my hair purple so I could look more like Sailor Saturn
In high school, I was really into Sailor Moon, and so were some of my friends. They did fun stuff like make Sailor Moon playlists (on tape), and assigned everyone a Senshi and I got Sailor Saturn (Not sure how they picked them, maybe birthday's or characteristics). On my best friend's last day of high school we were going to a big lunch date with everyone and I had a friend dye my hair purple to play my part. I'm kinda shy about dressing in costumes, but I'll dye my hair any day!
2. Ran around a salon cheering, "I look like Jerrica!"
When I was little I loved Jem and the Holograms. I doubt it was my first haircut, but it's the 1st I remembered. I got a sweet lob like Jerrica (my hair was weirdly yellow from being outside too much). I was ecstatic that I looked just like like her and promptly let the world know...a lot!3. Joined a beginners ballet class in college.
I've always loved ballet, but growing up they didn't offer any classes where I lived. I guess I was going through a post break up crisis in college and decided I was going to do everything I've ever wanted to do. So I sign up for classes, pay for a month's worth and buy a ton of cute ballet stuff...and the beginner class is for 5 year olds. My sister went with me and was the only witness to my embarrassment of being assigned the part of Glinda the Good Witch.
4. Waited in the freezing cold to see She & Him
As much as I love Zooey Deschanel, I have to say this was not worth it. A friend and I waited for hours to have a good spot at this outdoor concert during SXSW 2010. Of course it was running late, and then Zooey couldn't figure out how to turn on her keyboard, and it was a big let down....like many live shows are. Needless to say I'm still a fangirl and will buy the albums, but I won't freeze to death to see them live again.
5. I was in a punk rock band.
I played a bass guitar that I was more worried about putting stickers on than actually mastering and I wore that Spongebob wrist thing everywhere. I was such a nerd, but being in a band was cool. We had a lot of fun and that's what counts.
