Discontinued Items

As I'm working on getting my new products completed, I've decided to discontinue a few items. These are items I will not be making or carrying anymore, and I have limited stock.

I'm sad to say goodbye to my shrink plastic brooches. They are so fun to make, but take a huge toll on my hands since each one is hand cut. I remember making Christmas ornaments out of clear shrink plastic with the design drawn on in sharpie. To those of you who purchased one, thank you!

Right now, I am working on sticker + card designs. I am also saving up to get hard enamel pins made of my designs. I'm planning to start with the chibi Harry Potter design, but I would love to hear what other designs you would like to see as an enamel pin. Leave me a comment with your thoughts!

Thank you again for supporting my shop + enjoying my art! I can't wait to finally share some new products with you!

3rd Annual Record Store Day Sale!

It's almost time for one of my favorite days of the year....Record Store Day!

This year will be the third year I've celebrated this day with a fun Record Day Sale! For one day only, Saturday April 16th, you can save 30% off in my shop with the code RSD2016.

Each purchase on that day gets a special HQ Record Store Day vinyl sticker.

This year I am hoping to snag CHVRCHES album.  I'm always on the look out for some of my old favorites on vinyl too.

What album are you looking forward to purchasing on vinyl for Record Store Day?

March Favorites

I finally got around to doodling out my March Favorites!

1. Curling my hair! I'm the worst at fixing my hair, and most of the time you'll find me wearing a hat. Lately, I've been watching YouTube videos and trying some new things.

2. Homemade lattes. My friends passed on their espresso machine to me! I've been watching YouTube videos and making decent lattes at home. (Obviously I watch A LOT of YouTube >_<)

3. Cry Baby Girl Gang! (but don't type that into your search bar T_T) The Crybaby Club is an awesome group of supportive ladies who all agree it's okay to cry. I've loved getting to know everyone in the Facebook group and on Instagram.

4. Watching The Voice. This is the only thing I want to watch on live TV. I started watching last season and now I'm hooked. I make my husband watch it and he pretends to hate it, but then is super into it. Anyone else watching?

5. Fairy Tail. If I'm not watching Korean Dramas (or The Voice), I am probably watching anime. We've been watching Fairy Tail non stop and I'm obsessed! Now I will have to read the manga just so I know what happens next....

What are a few of your favorite things from last month?

New Look!

Etsy updated the look + layout of shops today in a really fun way! Of course I have been feeling the need for change as I've been switching the focus of my shop.

You may have noticed a new logo popping up on social media, along with a new pink background.  I feel like the more I create and grow as an artist, my business changes along with me. Some people may find it odd that I change things so often, but that's the fun part of owning your own business. I have to right to do whatever I want.

This really hit home recently when I was listening to a She Percolates podcast. Danielle + Jen are seriously awesome, and if you're a creative business person I definitely recommend grabbing a cup of coffee and soaking in all their knowledge + cuteness.

I've decided to shift my focus back to the kawaii aspect of my art, that never really left but I stopped talking about it non-stop after some mean comments. I think it's hard sometimes as an artist + person to keep putting yourself out there. If you've followed me for any amount of time, you'll notice I go from very active to not active at all. This is just introvert me not wanting to deal with the negative vibes cast my way on occasion, and retreating to drink coffee + watch Korean dramas until I work up the courage to deal with this wacky online world again.

I also plan to focus more on all the geeky things I love, as well as stationary! I have always loved stationary and now I have to opportunity through the International Geek Girls Pen Pal Club to write to pen pals all over the world! I want to create more fun stationary + stickers to promote my love of snail mail.

I'm currently working on a monthly virtual zine, new card + fabric designs, and soon a new themed sticker of the month club! Please let me know if there is anything you would like to see + keep up to date by signing up for my virtual zine that will be released later this month!
